Coconut milk swaps 🥥

Organic Coconut Milk is a great, dairy free alternative to milk.

With a thick consistency, a rich creamy texture and a slightly sweet, nutty and 'tropical' flavour, it can turn an ordinary meal into an exotic one. Coconut milk is extremely versatile, making it a great pantry staple.

Coconut milk & coconut cream are both made from the white flesh of the coconut. Canned coconut milk has a thick, creamy consistency, and is typically used for baking or cooking.

Coconut cream is thicker with a slightly higher fat content.

Use it when you want an extra thick texture, such as frosting or a thick sauce.

🥥Not all coconut milk is made equal though! Look for ones with all natural ingredients, without any additives or emulsifiers (See photos ) 👉🏼 or try making your own.

Brands have different amounts of coconut vs water also - This gives you an idea how runny the milk will be.

And lastly without the emulsifiers, the fat naturally separates from the water content, but usually a good stir combines the two together.
